On Easter, some people want to graze at a buffet with carved meats, seafood, salads and desserts.

Others prefer to order off a menu. Either way, on Sunday, March 31, there are plenty of Utah restaurants ready to serve you and your family.

This spring holiday is one of the busiest dining days for the year so be sure to call soon and make a reservation — even at restaurants you might not think will take them.

Here’s a list of what’s open. Prices listed do not include tax, tip or alcoholic beverages.

SALT LAKE VALLEY

Bambara » 202 S. Main St., Salt Lake City; 801-363-5454. Brunch buffet served from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. featuring lamb hash and a carving station with mustard glazed ham. Adults, $38, children 6-12, $18; seniors, $28.

Cafe Trio » 680 S. 900 East, Salt Lake City; 801-533-8746. Regular brunch menu plus holiday specials 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.; regular dinner service 3 to 9 p.m.

Cafe Trio Cottonwood » 6405 S. 3000 East, Salt Lake City; 801) 944-8746. Brunch buffet served from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Adults, $27.99, children (6-12), $15.99; 5 and under free.

Caffe Niche » 779 E. 300 South, Salt Lake City; 801-433-3380. Serving brunch from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Regular menu with specials.

Fleming’s Prime Steakhouse » 20 S. 400 West, Salt Lake City; 801-355-3704. Three-course brunch served from 11:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. with several choices for appetizers, entrees and dessert. Adults, $36.95. Children’s meal available for $17.95.

Franck’s » 6263 S. Holladay Blvd, Holladay; 801-274-6264. Four-course brunch. Reservations required. Adults, $60; children 12 and under, $24.

Grand America Hotel » 555 S. Main St., Salt Lake City; 801-258-6807. In the Oak Room, a four-course brunch will be served from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Cost is $49. The Garden Cafe’s brunch buffet will be served from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Adults, $45, children (5-12), $22.50; kids under 4 free.
