French food and wine pairing at La Caille

A wine pairing dinner, that includes up to seven dishes paired with five wine takes place Wednesday, March 20, at La Caille, 9565 Wasatch Blvd, Sandy.

The meal begins at 6:30 p.m. and includes such fare as lobster risotto with Thumbelina carrots, goat cheese sorbet, smoke sous vide Muscovy duck with veal bacon, petite venison Wellington and a deconstructed black forest cake.

The wines include a 2010 Mouton Cadet White Bordeaux, 2006 Chateau Leoville Poyferre St. Julien and a 2003 Taylor Fladgate Porto LBV.

Cost: $50 for food and $45 for optional wine pairings, plus tax and gratuity
