TV preview: 'Golden Boy' is on the right track

CBS' new cop drama Golden Boy plays with time. It's the story of New York's youngest-ever police commissioner (Theo James) told from the future as he's interviewed about the present, where he's a young detective paired with a veteran partner (Chi McBride). It's far less confusing than it sounds — and shows a great deal of promise.
