Honors for Orem violinist Aubree
Orem violinist Aubree Oliverson won the Beverley Sorenson Young Artists Competition, which includes $500 and performances with the Utah Chamber Artists orchestra at UCA's Youth Festival this week. Oliverson, 14, also won the National Music Teachers Association of America Southwest Division Strings Competition, competing as Utah's representative against state champions from California, New Mexico, Arizona, Nevada and Hawaii.
