Creative Communication Spring Poetry and Essay Contest

Creative Communication will hold its annual Spring 2013 Essay, Poetry and Art Contests for students K-12. Prizes and money will be awarded. The deadline for the Essay Contest is Feb. 19, 2013 while the deadline for the Poetry Contest is April 11, 2013. Visit poeticpower.com/index.php for information.

Venessa Gromek Exhibit

The Utah Museum of Contemporary Art is pleased to announce a new exhibition in the Locals Only Gallery, The Sublime is Light and Easy-to-Assemble by Venessa Gromek. Drawing on notions of the sublime in both nature and design, Gromek’s "Tents" series addresses the intersection of the outdoor industry with the aesthetics of modern sculpture.
