Stepping On Workshop

The Utah County Health Department will offer "Stepping On," a seven-week workshop that builds strength, balance and confidence in an effort to reduce the number of falls for a person 65 and older. Classes are free, but reservations are required. To register, call 801-851-7035.

Creative Communication Spring Poetry and Essay Contest

Creative Communication will hold its annual Spring 2013 Essay, Poetry and Art Contests for students K-12. Prizes and money will be awarded. The deadline for the Essay Contest is Feb. 19, 2013 while the deadline for the Poetry Contest is April 11, 2013. Visit poeticpower.com/index.php for information.
