DVD • When Season 3 of "Justified" began, there was reason to worry. Mags Bennett (Margo Martindale) — one of the great TV villains of all time — had been killed off at the end of Season 2. And the villains are just as important to this show as our hero, Deputy Marshall Raylan Givens (Timothy Olyphant).

But in addition to the return of Walton Goggins as Raylan's friend/enemy, Boyd Crowder, "Justified" added a pair of really good bad guys — Ellstin Limehouse (Mykelti Williamson) and Robert Quarles (Neal McDonough) — and the show was off and running for another 13 episodes.

After several failed attempts to turn Elmore Leonard's books into TV series, "Justified" got it right. —
