Bountiful Food Pantry Drive

Bountiful High’s Interact/Key/Service Club is spearheading a food drive for the Bountiful Food Pantry. Several junior highs and elementary schools are participating as well. All of the food will be picked up and transported to the food pantry on Nov. 9, 2012. A Drop and Wave is taking place in front of the school all that day to encourage the community to participate. For more information, contact Advisor Jan Wray at 801-628-7102.

Food Leadership Summit

Westminster College’s Environmental Center will present the Food Leadership Summit, hosted at Westminster on the Draw (2120 S. 1300 East, Salt Lake City). The purpose of the event is to connect and empower food leaders from around the community. Keynote speaker is Anim Steel, director of National Programs at The Food Project in Boston. Glass Art Show

The Art Glass Guild of Utah will hold a show of kiln work and blown glass. Large and small pieces including garden art, decorative boxes, sculptural works, and jewelry will display the brilliant colors. Items displayed will be available for sale.
