$4.18 • Oh Mai Vietnamese Sandwich Kitchen has brought Vietnamese street food to State Street in the form of the banh mi sandwich. Bite into this warm, garlic-buttered, 8-inch baguette to explore a multitude of flavors in the form of sweet, honey-glazed pork brightened with fresh cilantro; mild cucumber contrasted with the sting of jalapeno; and pickled carrots and daikon radish finished with a chili-lime fish vinaigrette (a staple of every banh mi). This is one sandwich you won't forget.

Oh Mai Vietnamese Sandwich Kitchen is at 3425 S. State St., Salt Lake City; 801-467-6882; and 6093 S. Highland Drive; 801-277-9888. State Street location open: Monday through Thursday 10 a.m. to 8 p.m., Friday and Saturday 10 a.m. to 8:30 p.m., closed Sunday; Holladay location: Monday through Thursday 11 a.m. to 8 p.m., Friday and Saturday 11 a.m. to 8:30 p.m., closed Sunday.
