Panels from The AIDS Memorial Quilt
Created to commemorate the lives lost to AIDS over the last decades, The AIDS Memorial Quilt serves as a political and social statement about the impact of this plague. The IRC in Salt Lake City’s Warm Welcome Winter Clothing Drive
The International Rescue Committee in Salt Lake City is hosting its annual Warm Welcome Winter Clothing Drive. Give refugees a warm welcome to Salt Lake City by donating new or gently used coats, jackets, scarves, mittens/gloves, sweaters, hats, boots and snow pants. Clothing Drive and Bake Sale Fundraiser
The Salt Lake City Ballet will hold its annual Clothing Drive and Bake Sale. The school will accept public donations of gently used dance wear, costumes, and clothing. From donations they create a thrift shop where the community "shops" for dance wear, costumes and clothing.
