Pre Winter Ski Sale and Tree Tag Sale Fundraiser

Soldier Hollow Legacy Foundation will sponsor its annual cross country ski sale. Gently used equipment will be on sale Nov. 2-3, 8 a.m.-5 p.m. at the Soldier Hollow Ski Resort in Midway, Utah. As an added bonus, Christmas tree tags will be sold by the Forest Service starting at 8 a.m. Visit fs.fed.us for more information.

Catholic Community Services Holiday Food Drive

Catholic Community Services will collect and donate Holiday Food items, including turkeys, hams (of all sizes), canned yams & pumpkin, cranberry sauce, stuffing, potatoes, gravy, and canned vegetables. Food may be donated at the Joyce Hansen Hall Food Bank, 2504 F Avenue or to United Way of Northern Utah.

Brigham Young University will present "Weir Was Here: Secret Rooms, Doors and Windows," an exhibit that features photographs of the beauty and textures of the interiors of Julian Alden Weir’s house and studio. Weir was one of the founders of American Impressionism.
