Filmmaker Morgan Spurlock will spend time with Mormon missionaries (among others) in Sunday's episode of his CNN series."Morgan Spurlock: Inside Man" (Sunday, 8 and 11 p.m., CNN) finds him in the Nashville, Tenn., area as a guest preacher at an athiest church, visiting an evangelical mega-church, a Baptist church, mosques and "Mormon gatherings."His goal was to "try and figure out exactly why people need religion in their lives, why it creates so much conflict in this world, and what his own message is for his Sunday sermon."In the episode, titled "The Book of Morgan," Spurlock spent a day with a pair of LDS missionaries in the Murfreesboro, Tenn., area knocking on doors. The filmmaker, however, announced he was from CNN, which apparently helped him and the missionaries get into more homes than usual.Spurlock also helped the two young men clean up a widow's yard and ate dinner with them at the home of an LDS family, then joined them for family home evening.How much of this will be edited into the episode remains to be seen.This isn't the first time Spurlock has put a Mormon on TV. In a 2008 episode of his FX series "30 Days," Spurlock placed an LDS woman in a home with a gay couple and their adopted children.The goal of "30 Days" was to bring understanding to disparate people; the LDS woman, however, never came to any kind of understanding with her hosts.
