Do we have to talk about Christmas in September?

If your pre-Christmas or pre-Thanksgiving traditions involve the Trans-Siberian Orchestra, yes, we have to talk about the holidays now.

The Trans-Siberian Orchestra — whose amped-up rock versions of holiday tunes sound like the soundtrack for "Santa Claus: The Movie" if it were directed by Michael Bay — will be playing two shows Nov 20, 4 p.m. and 8 p.m., at EnergySolutions Arena, 301 W. South Temple, Salt Lake City.

The band will perform its rock opera, "The Lost Christmas Eve," with the traditional massive laser-light show.

Tickets for both shows go on sale this Monday, Sept. 16, at Smith's Tix outlets. Prices range from $30 to $59.
