It's Christmas in July on the music charts, thanks to David Archuleta — but he's not around to celebrate it.

The Utah singer's 2011 holiday album "Glad Christmas Tidings," recorded with the Mormon Tabernacle Choir, landed at No. 25 on the Top Internet Albums chart, The Hollywood Reporter wrote on Friday. The album also re-entered at No. 1 on the Classical Catalog Albums chart.

Archuleta, the season 7 "American Idol" runner-up, is in South America on the second year of his mission for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.

The reason for the sudden surge? LDS Church-owned Deseret Book's online store put the album on sale, for as cheap as $2.99.
