Scholarships available for Salt Lake City-based MusicGarage.org's music and recording camps

Local Utah Arts Alliance-affiliated MusicGarage.Org has six summer Rock Band Camp and Recording Camp sessions scheduled in June, July and August.

They are held Mondays through Fridays from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Our unique program design gets all ages and abilities challenged and developed while having FUN, making friends and playing a concert this summer! Campers play the songs that they have been learning in private lessons - or learn songs just for the camp consisting of twenty-five, 45-minute sessions that offer rehearsal , jam session, workshop, individual and group coaching, ear training, vocal coaching, stage craft, improvisation and audio technology and more! $300

Intermediate-to-advanced musicians learn how to prepare and rehearse songs that they want to record during a one-week recording session. Sessions consist of twenty-five, 45-minute sessions that include; rehearsals, songwriting, workshops, individual and group coaching, ear training, vocal coaching, improvisation, recording theory and technology training and more. $400

Established in 2009, MusicGarage.Org is a provider of after-school and summer camp programs with a 4,500 sq ft facility that serves as a rehearsal and production facility for local and national ouring acts. Located at 389 West 1700 South, Unit E in Salt Lake City, Utah 84115 and by phone at 801-577-2263 – MusicGarage.org has year-round programs with sliding fees and scholarships available.
