Coleman Barks and cellist reading poetry of 13th century Persian mystic Rumi Thursday

Coleman Barks, an acclaimed poet, translator and interpreter, will be at Libby Gardner Hall on the University of Utah campus Thursday night at 7 p.m. reading poetry of 13th century Persian mystic Rumi, called by some as the most widely read poet in America today.

Grammy-winning cellist David Darling will accompany the poetry reading.

The event is presented by The Boulder Mountain Zendo and The Jung Society.
