• The third annual Radio From Hell Film Festival, featuring short films created by listeners of X96’s "Radio From Hell," happens at the Tower Theatre, 876 E. 900 South, Salt Lake City. Food (from Faustina) and music (by Folk Hogan) start at 6; movies start at 7. Tickets are $10, at the Tower box office.
• Metal band The Devil Wears Prada performs at In the Venue, 219 S. 600 West, Salt Lake City. Opening act: The Color Morale. Show starts at 6:30. Tickets are $13, at Smith’s Tix.
• Avant-garde folk/pop musician Kishi Bashi will perform at Kilby Court, 741 S. Kilby Court (330 West), Salt Lake City. Opening act: Plume Giant (in an acoustic set). Show starts at 7. Tickets are $12, at 24Tix.
• Karl Denson’s one-man band, Karl Denson’s Tiny Universe, performs at The State Room, 638 S. State St., Salt Lake City. Opening act: Monophonics. Show starts at 8. Tickets are $25, at the venue’s website.
