Pianist Jeffrey Kahane and cellist Andrew Shulman will present the complete works of Beethoven for Piano and Violoncello on two consecutive nights presented in a concert part of the Dixie State College Celebrity Concert Series.On Tuesday, January 15, 7:30 p.m. they will perform "Finding a Voice – The Final Decade of the 18th Century," which includes 12 Variations on 'See the conquering hero comes." Sonata No. 1 in F Major; Sonata No. 2 in G Minor; and 12 Variation so 'Ein Madchen oder Weichen."The following evening, on Wednesday, January 16, 7:30 p.m. they will perform "A New Beginning – The Dawn of the 19th Century," including 7 Variations on 'Bei Mannern, welche Liebe fuhlen," Sonata No. 3 in A Major, Sonata No. 4 in C Major and Sonata No 5 in D Major.

Both concerts will be held at the Cox Performing Arts Center in St. George.Renowned as a pianist and conductor, Jeffrey Kahane has entered his thirteenth season as Music Director of the Los Angeles Chamber Orchestra.Reserved tickets are now on sale for $20 available at the Dixie State College box office.
