The 12.12.12 Concert is designed as a global event, and Utahns can easily join in.
Organizers of the fundraiser for Hurricane Sandy relief are projecting that it will available to 2 billion people worldwide - including pretty much every person who lives in Utah.
You can watch it on TV. You can watch it on the Internet. You can watch it at local theaters.
Live from Madison Square Garden in New York City, the performers include Bon Jovi, Eric Clapton, Dave Grohl, Billy Joel, Alicia Keys, Chris Martin, The Rolling Stones, Bruce Springsteen, Eddie Vedder, Roger Waters, Kanye West, The Who and Paul McCartney
And, the organizers hope, you’ll donate to the Robin Hood Relief Fund. You can do that without watching the concert at donate.121212concert.org or by calling 1-855-465-4357.
Utahns can watch the concert for free, even if you don’t have cable TV or Internet access. It’s airing on the Ion network on KUPX-Ch. 16.
And there are a whole lot more cable TV options. Channels available on Utah cable and/or satellite systems include:
• AMC
• AXS TV
