There's one local team that still has a shot at a national championship. The BYU women's college volleyball team begins play in the NCAA tournament on Friday.I'm not in any way predicting the Cougars will win a national title - they're the No. 12 seed in the 64-team tournament - but it's possible. And this is one of those occasions when BYUtv proves its worth. The NCAA has granted to channel permission to telecast Friday's BYU vs. New Mexico State match at 7 p.m. And if the Cougs advance, their Saturday match against the winner of Arizona State and Oklahoma will also air at 7 p.m. on BYUtv.Nobody at BYUtv asked for my advice, but I'd make one change from their coverage of the BYU women's soccer team's NCAA tournament games - no shrieking and cheerleading from the "expert" analyst.Friday on TV ...College football: MAC championship - Kent State vs. Northern Illinois (5 p.m., ESPN); Pac-12 championship - UCLA vs. Stanford (6 p.m., Fox/Ch. 13)NBA (6 p.m., ROOT): Utah Jazz at Oklahoma City ThunderUndercover Boss (7 p.m., CBS/Ch. 2): Diamond Resorts International CEO Stephen J.
