Also, celebrate that Ken Burns' documentary series was only five-and-one-half hours long, rather than the intimidating 10-plus hour run-time of his "The Civil War" series.

Bourbon House will also fete the end of Prohibition with a party that will feature blackjack, craps, poker, roulette, flapper girls and you, dressed in clothing of the era. Ratification of the 21st Amendment repealed the 18th Amendment on December 5, 1933. Although the last dry state was Mississippi, which officially ended the Prohibition era in 1966. So perhaps that's another holiday for Utah drinkers to celebrate.
