Station Park(a 900,000 square foot, $250 million-plus upscale retail, dining and entertainment center open air shopping center) is hosting a "Light up the Night" tree-lighting party in its Village Center with live entertainment, hot cocoa and treats, a grand entrance by Santa Claus in a fire engine and a tree lighting ceremony, in addition to live music.
Entertainment includes comedian Steven Jones and music by the Pink Stilettos and the Osmonds 2nd Generation.
Here is the schedule:
7:05 p.m., Station Park’s show fountain with animated colored lights and dancing waters will debut one of three new holiday songs.
7:10 p.m. Santa and Farmington City Mayor Scott Harbretson will flip the switch to light a 35-foot high noble fir Christmas tree decorated with 3,000 lights, approximately 700 ornaments and 300 yards of ribbon tied into bows.
7: 15 p.m. Ice skating exhibition on Station Park’s ice skating rink followed by Steven Jones, the Pink Stilettos and the Osmonds 2nd Generation.
Station Park is at the intersection of I-15, Highway 89 and Legacy Parkway, and the Front Runner Commuter Train in Farmington.
