Today, I was talking to Rick Estrin (who will be performing at the Sun & Moon Cafe on Nov. 26 and 27) and we got to talking about songs of gratitude, with Thanksgiving coming up. I asked him what his favorite song about gratitude was, and I admit I put him on the spot. He couldn't think of one off the top of his head, but promised to call me back with one.

He did call me back a few minutes later, and told me this was the best song about gratitude he has ever heard:

It's a Kris Kristofferson song, and this rendiion includes an explanation of how he came up with it. Plus. Willie Nelson joins him on it.
