There's (mostly) good news about Thursday's Real Salt Lake-Seattle Sounders playoff game.

It will be on live TV after all. The NBC Sports Network will carry the match at 8 p.m. MT - a half hour later than originally scheduled.

That's great news for anybody who doesn't have a ticket.

The only caveat is that, once again, NBCSN will pick up Seattle's telecast of the game. Which means that, once again, the godawful Ross Fletcher will be doing the play by play.

Note to Seattle: Just because someone has a British accent does not make him a good soccer sportscaster.

Note to NBC: Same goes for Arlo White, the godawful announcer you hired away from the Sounders this season.

I'd suggest a drinking game in which you take a shot every time Fletcher says something utterly meaningless, but you'd be passed out on your couch long before halftime.

Ah, well. At least the game will be on TV.

And there will be no replay on KUCW-Ch. 30. It's unnecessary at this point.

By the way, the fact that RSL and Seattle tied 0-0 in the first leg of their playoff series means that whoever wins on Thursday wins the series and moves on to face the winner of the Los Angeles-San Jose series.

The way things are going for RSL and the Sounders, one goal might do it.
