Artists for Local Agriculture, in partnership with the Utah Arts Alliance and with the support of Wasatch Community Gardens, just announced the founding of the Community Art Garden located in the heart of Salt Lake City.

All members of the community are invited to come to the unveiling and fund-raising event Wednesday, Nov. 7.

Learn more about Artists for Local Agriculture, enjoy original art and live music, along with the chance to win great prizes.

The speace will be blooming this spring and will provide a space for the community to grow their own food.

The event will be at The Mixx (615 W 100 S), and the cost is $5.

The doors will open at 8 p.m. with info and prizes, with music from 9-11 p.m.

There will be performances by Ferocious Oaks, Minx, John Ross Boyce, and Jesus or Genome.
