Utahn Angie Layton is out, but Survivor: Philippines (7 p.m., CBS/Ch. 2) goes on.

Layton didn't fare particularly well on the series. Not only was she the third person voted out, not only was her tribe pretty much a disaster, but she may go down in "Survivor" history for offering up one of the dumbest answers ever.

Two episodes ago, when host Jeff Probst asked what the tribe what would make things better for them, Angie replied, "Cookies."

I think she was trying to be funny. Didn't work, but she tried.

I also think she's smarter than she came off in her three episodes on the show. But she's going to live with this forever.

Most of the time, viewers forget the first few people voted off by the time the season ends. But the cookies answer is going to make Angie more memorable.

Also tonight, not one, not two, but three new shows premiere tonight. One of them is really good; one is good; and the other is OK.

• The really good one is Nashville (9 p.m., ABC/Ch. 4).

• The good one is Arrow (7 p.m., CW/Ch. 30).

• And the OK one is Chicago Fire (9 p.m., NBC/Ch. 5).

All three of them are reviewed here on this blog.
