What Cirque du Soleil incarnation is more aimed at children than "Quidam"? This production, first performed in 1996 in Monreal, is the story of a bored child, Zoé, who escapes from her apathetic parents into an imaginary world where she meets characters who encourage her to free her soul. Doesn't sound like it reflects real well on the parents, but Cirque du Soleil is all about amazing acrobats and stunts that have the audience ooohing and aaaahing. And there are more than 50 acrobats, musicians and singers in this production.
It's one of several family oriented shows coming to Utah now through December.
