Here's what's happening today in pop culture:
• While Mitt Romney spent his Tuesday asking Utahns for money and looking uncomfortable talking about his leaked off-the-cuff comments at an earlier fundraiser, President Barack Obama spent the day fundraising back east and looking very comfortable on David Letterman's couch. [Entertainment Weekly]
• The CW is prepping "Wunderland," an update on "Alice in Wonderland" where Alice is an L.A. cop. This follows on the heels of successful modern takes on "Snow White" (ABC's "Once Upon a Time") , "Grimm's Fairy Tales" (NBC's "Grimm") and Cinderella's evil stepsisters (E!'s "Keeping Up With the Kardashians"). • The Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences is messing with the awards-season calendar – moving the announcement of Oscar nominees earlier, to January 10, before the Golden Globes are given out. Why? Because they're the Oscars, and they're the big dog on this particular block.
