This weekend on Utah TV: Utahns finally get a look at "The New Normal"
First Published Sep 13 2012 04:26 pm • Last Updated Sep 13 2012 04:26 pm

The rest of the country saw the premiere of The New Normal on Tuesday. Utah viewers can see it Saturday at 10 p.m. on KUCW-Ch. 30.

That is, of course, because KSL is refusing to air the sitcom about two gay guys who meet a young woman who agrees to be the surrogate for their baby they want to have. And the young woman has both a smart daughter and a homophobic, racist mother.

"The New Normal" isn't a great show, but it isn't awful. There are some laughs.

And it's not any more adult than most of the other NBC shows that KSL does carry.

By the way, thanks to KUCW for picking up "The New Normal."
