Utah State University's Department of Music will welcomes scholar Jenny Doctor to the Logan campus between Sept. 17-21. Doctor, a specialist in 20th century British musical culture and the BBC, is a professor at Syracuse University and director of the Belfer Audio Archive. Doctor's first presentation is a lecture based on her research called "Vaughan Williams, Boult and the BBC." The lecture is Sept. 19 at 11:30 a.m. in the Merrill-Cazier Library Auditorium, Room 101. She will also will present a pre-concert talk for the American Festival Chorus Concert "Music of a Royal Occasion" at 6:45 p.m. Sept. 21 in the Kent Concert Hall in the Chase Fine Arts Center on USU's campus.
