DVD •It was only June when "Snow White and the Huntsman" cast Kristen Stewart as the fairest of them all — a designation legions of "Twilight" fans have stripped from Stewart after she was seen kissing the film's married director, Rupert Sanders.

The tabloid headlines have made everyone forget the sturdy, stylish action movie Sanders built from the classic fairy tale, with a muscular Huntsman (Chris Hemsworth) rescuing Stewart's decidedly tough damsel from the clutches of the evil Queen (Charlize Theron).

It's Theron, though, who owns the movie, thanks to her impressively imperious performance. Extras include an extended cut with four minutes of added footage. —
