The Gateway Mall, where we call home, is hosting a new Saturday Night Concert Series at the Olympic Foundation from 6 to 8 p.m. each Saturday night in September. Here is the line-up, with brief bio's provided by The Gateway:

Saturday, September 1: Music Garage Kids!

September 2012 marks the 13th season MusicGarage.orghas been training young rockers on how to be professional, gigging and touring musicians. These youth have performed at major venues, fairs and festivals statewide since 2009. The group performing at in the Plaza on September 1st are promoting 'Back to School' enrollment for new kid musicians who want to audition to sing and play with the group during this fall, winter and spring to get ready for their 2013 West Coast Summer Tour.

Sep. 8: Benefit of a Doubt

Benefit of a Doubt: Wes Hunt: Guitars, Vocals. Casey Boyland: Percussion, Vocals. JD Smeltzer: Percussion. BOD has been playing together for two years as street performer sand in venues such as the Salt Lake City Farmers. They play acoustic music of many styles ranging from reggae to punk rock to country and arecurrently raising money to record their first album of original tunes.

Sept. 22nd: HEMA

Hemā Jr. has been playing music since he was 14 years old, and now as an adult he fuses Rock and Blues with R&B and Americana stylings. His smooth voice and brilliant guitar playing, complimented with his always entertaining band to back him up, make for a stunning performance! Whether he's playing venues like The Complex, or The Avalon, or simply playing at backyard barbecues.

Sept. 29: Jessica Lopez (above)

The gifted singer /songwriter will join the likes of Selena Gomez and Justin Bieber. She plans to catch the attention of both English and Latin markets with the double release of her new album.
