Folk-influenced musicians Iron & Wine and Kathleen Edwards performed at Pioneer Park Thursday in the most recent edition of the Salt Lake City Arts Council’s Twilight Concert Series.
Iron & Wine is the stage name of Sam Beam, a Texan-by-way-of-South Carolina whose 2011 album "Kiss Each Other Clean" debuted at No. 2 on the Billboard all-genre album charts.

Edwards’ most recent album is 2012’s "Voyageur," produced by Bon Iver’s Justin Vernon, whom she has been romantically linked to.
The Aug. 23 Twilight Concert will feature M. Ward and DeVotchKa, and the final Twilight Concert on Aug. 30 will feature Common and Aloe Blacc.
Tickets for Twilight Concerts are $5 and are available at the gate and at Graywhale Entertainment stores.
