WorldStage Concerts presents "Islands in the Desert," a colorful and exciting program featuring Pacific Islander dance and music by local Utah artists carrying on their family and island legacies from Samoa, New Zealand, Tonga, Fiji, Tahiti and Hawaii. Tausala will perform graceful Samoan dances. From the Maori culture, Ko Ngati Hiona will perform the twirling Poi dance and the thunderous Haka war dance, as well as ancient songs and dances of welcome from the Land of the Long White Cloud, New Zealand.
