Bountiful/Davis Summerfest International in full swing

The colorful exhibition is part of Bountiful's Summerfest, a program of the Bountiful/Davis Art Center featuring international dance and music performances from Columbia, Costa Rica, Croatia, Freance, India, and Indonesia, and Siberia (Russia). The Bountiful/Davis Summerfest International has been an annual tradition in Davis County for 24 years.

This year’s event, which began on Thursday, celebrates the arts with artist booths, ethnic food vendors, games and exhibits, as well as featuring folk musicians and dancers from around the world. Local residents host the guest performers during their stay in Bountiful. The festival began with a costume parade, followed by opening ceremonies at Bountiful City Park, 400 N. 200 West.

The festival continues at the park from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. Friday and Saturday, Aug. 10-11.
