Summit County students (grades 9 through 12) can score free seats to see The All-American Rejects and EVE 6 take the stage, August 12 at Deer Valley Resort's Snow Park Outdoor Amphitheater.

If the student can prove he or she has a 3.5 grade point average or higher, they can receive a free lawn seat to the show. "Part of our mission at Park City Performing Arts Foundation is to introduce young people to the arts," explains PCPAF executive director Teri Orr in a press release. "We're proud of our hard working local students and this is our way of celebrating their academic successes while nudging them to unplug for a moment and to experience the incredible feeling of taking in a live show – one that happens to feature two bands that launched to the top of the charts when they were high school students themselves." In order to receive a free, general admission lawn ticket to the August 12 concert, each student must present his or her photo student ID and 2011-2012 report card (for any grading period during the past year), which shows his or her 3.5 GPA (or higher) achievement. The box office is open 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. at The Mega Genius Supply Store and IQ HQ on Swede Alley (435-655-3114) through Friday, August 10. The honors student ticket giveaway is not available day of show. Only one free lawn ticket is available per student.
