Jon Stewart has risen, gallantly, to the defense of Utah.

On Monday night's "The Daily Show," Stewart poked fun at Republican presidential candidate Mitt Romney's gaffe-filled trip to London — where he insulted the British hosts by questioning their readiness for the Olympics.

But when British Prime Minister insulted Romney back, saying that it's "easier if you hold an Olympic Games in the middle of nowhere."

That's when Stewart stood up for Utah:

"You know what, when it comes to foreigners attacking the states, there is no Utah. There is only We-tah."

Stewart then took the role of a Utah pioneer (with his face superimposed on a woman in a pioneer bonnet riding a covered wagon) to argue with himself as a Brit (with his face superimposed on a picture of Harry Potter).
