Area 51

It's that time of the month again, which means that Area 51 is hosting its monthly Fetish Ball, with the theme of Steam Punk and Victorian. If you're not sure what that theme is, rent the movie "Wild Wild West," starring Will Smith and Kevin Kline, for inspiration. Come to think of it, don't rent the movie — just look at the cover of the DVD and be done with it. The film won five Razzie Awards, including Worst Picture, Worst Director, Worst Screen Couple, Worst Screenplay and Worst Original Song.

When • Saturday, July 28 at 8 p.m.

Where • Area 51, 451 S. 400 West, Salt Lake City

Admission • $10 at door

His first album debuted at No. 1 on Billboard back in September, and he was nominated for Best New Artist at the most recent Grammy Awards ceremony. He lost to Bon Iver. What? You don't know who Bon Iver is?

Enjoy Tuesday night karaoke with music and beats by DJ Troy. Try the game called "Karaoke Roulette": Force a guy or girl to sing the worst karaoke song you can think of as a test to see how much they might like you. You'd be surprised at how many people might not like you after this.
