The fans at Comic-Con — the annual gathering in San Diego of all things geek — got an early look at next summer's blockbuster "The Lone Ranger," which is now being shot in southern Utah.

According to the Los Angeles Times, Disney unveiled the teaser trailer during a preview panel discussion that included talk about Tim Burton's "Frankenweenie," the videogame animated comedy "Wreck-It Ralph," and Sam Raimi's 2013 fantasy "Oz, the Great and Powerful."

Burton and Raimi were there in person, as were "Oz" stars Mila Kunis and Michelle Williams, and "Wreck-It Ralph" voice talent John C. Reilly and Sarah Silverman.

None of "The Lone Ranger" talent — stars Johnny Depp and Armie Hammer, director Gore Verbinski or producer Jerry Bruckheimer — were at Comic-Con, as they're busy actually finishing the movie.

A Disney spokesperson says the trailer should go online sometime today.
