ReMix Vocal Academy, in association with the Covey Center for the Arts in Prvov and the American Red Cross Utah Region, announced they will present a benefit concert on July 14 to support victims of recent Utah wildfires.

The concert — called the ReMix A Cappella Showcase — is the culmination of a week-long academy of young performers who will be taking part in Utah's first ever all-vocal camp. Singers from across the nation have auditioned for the chance to be accepted to the Academy and will be the featured performers in two shows on Saturday, July 14 at 3 p.m. and 7:30 p.m.

Also making a special appearance will be the new six-man vocal group "ReMix," past members of Vocal Point as seen on NBC's "The Sing-Off."

"In response to the recent wildfire situation, the American Red Cross has opened 5 shelters, 2 reception centers, provided over 7805 meals and snacks, 3000 bottles of water and 613 comfort kits. A number of fires are still burning in Utah and we are poised at the beginning of what looks to be a dangerous fire season," said Jeremy Marsh, Development and Community Relations Manager for the American Red Cross, in a press release. "Agency resources need to be replenished to provide adequate assistance to those impacted by these emergencies. We are grateful to ReMix and its sponsors for their generosity in staging these benefit concerts to assist the Red Cross in their relief efforts here in Utah."
