Forget "Born in the U.S.A."

"4th of July, Asbury Park (Sandy)," Bruce Springsteen » Because of the line: "Sandy, the fireworks are hailin’ over Little Eden tonight."

"I’m a Patriot," Steven Van Zandt » Look for Jackson Browne or Pearl Jam’s version.

"No More Kings," Schoolhouse Rock » Check out Pavement’s rambunctious cover.

"Don’t Tread on Me," Metallica » A little bellicose, but what’s more American than electric guitars?

"If You’re Reading This," Tim McGraw » For all of the soldiers, sailors and Coast Guard personnel out there.
