The all-volunteer organization will present its Spring Celebration on Thursday and Friday at Libby Gardner Hall on the campus of the University of Utah.
Under the direction of Joel Rosenberg, the symphony will perform Rachmaninoff’s Piano Concerto No. 2 and Dvorak’s Symphony No. 6 in D Major.
Soprano Erin McOmber will sing two of of the most beautiful arias in the repertoire — "O Mio Babbino Caro" from Puccini’s "Gianni Schicchi" and "The Song to the Moon" from Dvorak’s Opera "Rusalka."
Tickets are $8 and $10.
