While Kathleen Cahill’s play "Course 86B in the Catalogue" continues its run at Salt Lake Acting Company, her newest play, "Monsterheart," will enjoy a staged reading on Monday, April 30, at SLAC, 168 W. 500 North, Salt Lake City.
"Monsterheart" is a horror story, in which the lead character, Poppy, "hungers for human connections" in a spooky foreclosed house in Encino, Calif., on Thanksgiving.

Alexandra Harbold directs actors Cheryl Gaysunas, Jacob Johnson, Deena Marie Manzanares, Amanda Maylett, Nicki Nixon, Nick O’Donnell, Zack Phifer and Barbara Smith in the reading.
The reading starts at 7 p.m. Tickets are free, and will be distributed one hour before the show.
