Garfunkel and Oates — the singing comedy team who are named neither Garfunkel nor Oates — will appear at Wise Guys Comedy Club in West Valley City on Friday and Saturday.

Ricki Lindhome and Katie Mucucci chose the name for their duo from two singing second bananas — Art Garfunkel (of Simon and Garfunkel) and John Oates (of Hall and Oates).

Lindhome has a long list of guest roles on TV series and supporting roles in movies — everything from "The Big Bang Theory" to "Million Dollar Baby."

Micucci is best known for her roles on "Raising Hope" (Shelley) and "Scrubs" (Stephanie Gooch).

Together, they're Garfunkel and Oates, a comedy/folk singing duo who recently released their third CD, "Slippery When Moist," which features songs like "Save the Rich," "The Ex-Boyfriend Song," "I Would Never (Have Sex With You)" and "My Apartment's Very Clean Without You." And they've also signed for their own show on HBO, due out later this year. —
