Westminster College's Lectures on Entrepreneurship continue on Wednesday, March 14, with a familiar local figure — Gail Miller, owner and chairman of the board of Larry H. Miller Group of Companies.

The group includes the Utah Jazz, the Salt Lake Bees, 39 car dealerships in seven states, KJZZ-TV, Miller Motorsports Park and a string of movie theaters.

The lecture series is part of both an MBA and undergraduate class that is also free and open to the public. It brings successful entrepreneurs from the community to discuss critical issues relevant to his or her business.

Topics include developing the idea; validating the concept; planning the venture; raising funds; building a team; launching the company; sales and marketing; customer service; growing the business; and the keys to success.

Miller will speak Wednesday at 6:30 p.m. in the Bill and Vieve Gore School of Business Auditorium on the Westminster campus at 1840 S. 1300 East in Salt Lake City.

At 8 p.m., Steven Russell, the founder of CityGro — a social network where customers connect with local businesses for deals — is scheduled to speak.
