Nine Utah artists, including Zane Anderson, Amy Adams, Marianne Cone, Brian Christensen, Jason Lanegan, Adam Larsen, Suzanne Larson and Frank McEntire, make statements on the meaning of life through art created from discarded materials at the Utah Cultural Celebration Center.

The exhibition, "Renewal: Finding Life through Art, begins March 8 from 9 a.m. – 6 p.m in the center's galleries at 1355 W. 3100 South, West Valley City.

The artists turned to found objects because they hold collective history and associations. The artists combine and reorganize the discarded material into unexpected stories offering insight into the human condition.

In further artistic exploration, the program has invited writers will be invited to use the works as inspiration for a short literary works. Their responses will be on display, and a reading will be held at tonight's opening. A musical group also will perform a piece inspired by the visual works.
