"A Festival of Words" is being held March 10 from 2-6 p.m. at the Bullen Center, 43 S. Main, in Logan. The festival is a joint effort between the Bridgerland chapter of the Utah Storytelling Guild and Bridgerland Literacy.

The festival will include storytelling, singing, dancing, workshops, vendors, kids activities and more. As part of the festival, kids will enjoy wand duels and other Harry Potter activities in Hogwarts Hall. A "Milk & Cookies Storytelling" concert event will be held featuring storytelling, of course, but also music, magic, dancing and other arts at 7 p.m. The entire event is accessible and family-friendly. The cost is $1 for the festival and $5 for the evening concert.

Local authors will be available to sign their books. Authors include KART Kids Book List winner Shaunda Kennedy Wenger, and award winning authors Carole Thayne Warburton, RK Hinrichsen, Daniel Coleman, Cami Checketts, and others.

Noted storytellers at the event include Omar and Lori Hansen, David Sidwell, Clive Romney, Ted Erekson, Dan Bishop, Leah Adkins, Gary Hansen, and Daniel and Emma Kate Coleman.
