There are only a few shopping days until David Archuleta's departure for his mission for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints.

Late last week, Archuleta posted a video blog on YouTube updating fans on his life, telling them he's headed on his mission at the end of March.

Before he goes, though, he's finishing up two albums — one to be released in the Phillippines (where he just finished filming a miniseries "Nandito Ako"), and one for U.S. audiences.

The U.S. album will feature covers that are "sort of in tune with where I'm going next in my life." In other words, his mission.

What Archuleta doesn't say on his video blog is where he's being sent on his mission.
