Dan Reynolds and Wayne Sermon (a Berklee College of Music attendee and gearhead who grew up in a recording studio) met in college in Utah and later joined up with Ben McKee, a friend of Sermon’s from Berklee who dropped out, with one semester left, to join Reynolds and Sermon at their new home base of Las Vegas. The band is currently based in Los Angeles, where they met fellow Berklee alumni Daniel Platzman. Recently signed by Alex Da Kid to his label KIDinaKORNER /Interscope Records, the band is now working on tracks for its debut album.

The band will perform March 3 at Velour in Provo.
