The sounds of "thunder" will pervade the air when SUU's Wind Symphony performs John Phillip Sousa's "The Thunderer" as well as the second movement of Ira Hearshen's symphony, "After the Thunderer," which is based on the original Sousa piece.

SUU's Wind Symphony performs in concert on Friday, February 17.

Directed by Dr. Douglas Harris, the concert will take place at Cedar City's Heritage Center Theatre. The program will begin at 7:30 p.m. Tickets are $6 for adults, $4 for SUU Faculty and Staff, $3 for students and youth and SUU students are free with a valid ID.
