Finding truth through fiction

Rod Miller, author of the historical novel The Assassination of Governor Lilburn Boggs, will give a lecture on finding truth through fiction. His book is about Boggs, former governor of Missouri in 1842 who was shot by an unknown person. Boggs survived and the assailant was never found. The governor is known for giving the infamous extermination order against Mormons. Miller will show how fact and fiction work together.
